Shock start in the 21st Round for the first FC Köln: after only a few seconds networked Hamburg Marcell Jansen to 1:0 for the guests, the entire FC-defense asleep.
But the Billy Goats put on not fought their way into the game. The deserved reward: Youssef Mohamad headed in the 31st Minutes to compensate. A joy, which unfortunately was short-lived: Mladen Petric enforced five minutes after the balance to 2:1 for the HSV. So it remained at half-time.
Bayer Leverkusen took a long hard: against VfL Bochum, the Elf came from Jupp Heynckes until just before half-time for leadership. Eren Derdiyok met just before the whistle and banged Bayer, at least temporarily back to the table top.
